Our founders have lived across several continents, enjoying an array of great food, but really grew passionate about food while living in Singapore. Singapore is a melting pot of cultures and flavors, and we wanted to bring some of that home with us!

As we started to get into grilling, smoking and air-frying, we started to notice that global flavors are not well-represented in the BBQ aisle. As ethnic Indian Americans, we set out to create a simple, easy-to-use solution that will bring these flavors to your dinner table!

We launched Nakinoku, a food discovery platform, in 2021. While exploring new flavors, we noticed how few of them appeared in everyday BBQ sauces and seasonings.
