Our founders have lived across several continents, enjoying an array of great food, but really grew passionate about food while living in Singapore. Singapore is a melting pot of cultures and flavors, and we wanted to bring some of that home with us!
Cultures all over the world have been making BBQ forever!
As we started to get into grilling, smoking and air-frying, we started to notice that global flavors are not well-represented in the BBQ aisle. As ethnic Indian Americans, we set out to create a simple, easy-to-use solution that will bring these flavors to your dinner table!

We are passionate foodies! We launched Nakinoku, a food discovery platform in 2021, and along the journey discovered the lack of availability of global flavors in BBQ.
